Welcome to Greek Life

The Office of Greek Affairs provides oversight and guidance to the 56 fraternities and sororities at The University of Alabama.  The Office of Greek Affairs provides active oversight of chapter events, serves as a liaison between faculty, alumni advisors, national offices, and parents, develops values-based leadership development programming, provides training in areas such as chapter operations, risk management, health and safety and membership recruitment, monitors the academic performance of fraternity and sorority members, and recognizes the positive achievements and contributions of community members. 

Dates Set for Greek Preview Weekend

The Interfraternity Council and the Alabama Panhellenic Association have announced that Greek Preview Weekend will take place on Saturday, March 27th. Preview weekend is an opportunity for incoming students and interested high school seniors and their parents to visit the Capstone and learn more about the Greek community and the recruitment process.

NPHC Make-Up Convocation Scheduled

The National Pan-Hellenic Council will conduct a Make-Up Convocation session on February 5, 2010 at 6:00pm in the Ferguson Center Rm. 301.   NPHC Convocation is mandatory for any student wishing to participate in Membership Intake for any of the 8 organizations represented by NPHC in the spring semester.
